Che Sudaka celebrates 21 years.
It's easy to say, but it's hard to explain the journey taken by this Barcelona-based band formed by Argentinian and Colombian immigrants, who have spread their free and independent music to almost 2,000 stages across 50 countries on 5 continents since 2002.
For two decades, the band's live performance has been one of the most powerful in Europe according to the audience and music industry professionals.
The group's 10 albums are a true celebration of styles, cultures, and languages, dancing to the rhythm of the most incendiary urban cumbia, merengue ska, modern Latin American folklore, and the ever-present punk attitude, more irreverent but with increasingly sincere and conscious lyrics.
Time and the love of people have turned Che Sudaka into a living legend.
Without a doubt, it's a cult band.
On November 11th, 2022, celebrating their 20th anniversary, the group released a new album produced by Martín "Moska" Lorenzo (from Los Auténticos Decadentes) and Sergio Morales (from Pakandé) which joined their recently published book that collects the band's essence and history through multiple testimonies and features a loving prologue from their dear brother Manu Chao.
Leo, Kacha, and Cheko, or rather the heart of Che Sudaka, invite you to celebrate life with the full awareness that Goodness is Majority!
